  1. Britannia and Co Restaurant
Britannia and Co Restaurant

Britannia and Co is one of the few Parsi restaurants opened prior to Independence in India. It is now being managed by the third generation of the family who opened it first in 1923. The restaurant still serves food influenced by the family's Iranian and Parsi heritage. The eatery still maintains it furniture which was imported from Poland during the initial days.

To match the modern generation's needs, few additions have been made to the restaurant's services like the addition of air-conditioner, aluminum boxes and packaging materials for home delivery and a phone. The food is extremely popular among the locals. They even have emigrants flying in to buy the food in bulk to satisfy their families of the food they grew up eating. Their Lime Soda is a lifesaver in the scorching Mumbi heat. They are also known for their Sali Boti, Veg Dhansak, and Caramel Custard.

Do try their Berry Rice- a Parsi delicacy!
