David Kaplan is an emeritus professor of pathology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in the USA. He directed diagnostic laboratories for immunology and virology at the university hospital as well as the residency program in pathology. Eight years ago he founded a biotechnology company and serves as its chief scientific officer.
