Jayashree Krishnan is an Indian American educator and multicultural craft artist. She enjoys working on different forms of folk art from around the world and like others, have an inherent wish to create something unique and original. Being born and raised in the city of Thanjavur, one of the ancient cities in India, she has been inspired by its symbolic culture and heritage. Through her upbringing, she began to enjoy learning about different cultures, art, people and languages from around the world.
